Will Caldwell is an Idaho-based painter whose four decades of professional work reflect a life shaped by travel, American culture, family, music, and a deep connection to the landscapes of the West. After making Idaho his home, Caldwell’s immersion in the Wood River Valley and his commitment to forest conservation became an important influence on his work, inspiring paintings that explore the character, beauty, and spirit of the region.
Caldwell has been painting and exhibiting his work in Sun Valley for more than 50 years. His work has been exhibited in galleries across the country, and his paintings are currently on view with Sun Valley Antiques and Art. His paintings offer impressions of landscapes—both observed and remembered—where perception and memory converge.
